I read about this activity on the web: spray a bunch of shaving cream on the table and put out things like plastic animals, small cars, etc... Let your toddler have fun exploring the new texture (and get very messy in the process!). The nice thing was that this cleaned up very easily with just water. Samuel had a ball!

OH MY GOSH THAT LOOKS SOOOOO MESSY!!!!!! Is it horrible that that's my first thought and not "Wow, Tristan would really love that" ???? :) hee hee. Looks like Samuel had a blast!
Looks like a big mess. I am sure Samuel had fun!! I hope the cleanup wasnt too bad. Just be careful with the crayons/markers and the walls :)
I always had cans of shaving cream handy at day care, especially for rainy days. It's oooie gooie fun stuff and non-toxic now a days. You can put glitter in it around the holidays for fun-and foot coloring but that stuff can be hard to get off of some clothes. By the time he gets to preschool he'll love practicing writing his name and numbers in it and will even clean it up! :~) Can you tell "I" liked playing in it too? We used to put a dab of aroma therapy in sometimes. hmmmm
I meant FOOD coloring of course hahahaha.
